Well im sitting here in my favorite teacher's class. Im blaring music as loud as my little lappy can. Kung Foo Fighting by Carl Douglas never sounded so good. I really hate going to credit recovery today. Just when i thought it wasn't possible, I had to add another hour to my school schedule. Its reallly nerve wracking.
I guess I did it do myself though. It's worth the extra hour every day to graduate on time.

Blog 19: Music free
Man in the mirror is a really deep song. Its all about how Michael is facing his flaws and faults and he wants to break away his character. The song has a classic MJ funky keyboard bassline, flawless and soulful. I feel like the drums are repetitive. The sound of the snare is very unique, but it gets really annoying to me. The underlying backing vocals are also really nice.
The song really strikes home with me right now. What with my trying to grow up, graduate, whatever you want to call it. If my life was a movie, it would go on my soundtrack.

Driving
Even though it's nine months too late, I'm excited to finally have my intermediate liscense! At last, I've found a shred of independence. No more calling, asking, pleading for rides. I can keep a steady job. I can get to where I need to go at any time as long as i have gas in the tank.
It's like they took the bars from my cell. After being locked in a cage for so long, my captor has handed me the key.
It rocks. The whole deal, having my liscense, car, etc.
I took the first step to pimping my ride the other day: chrome tire tube caps. Cause I'm awesome.

March Madness!!!1
It's that time of the year! During the month of march it's time for nothing but college basketball. The entire country collides, filling out countless brackets, predicting the fate 64 groups of young men. The winner is declared the king of men's college basketball, and untill that title is distributed, bajillions of pairs of eyes are glued to the screens of TV's across the nation. Some tuned in for the sake of basketball, others just to see if they can choose the right winner.
This year, being the forgetful guy that I am, I forgot to fill out a bracket. :(
However, this is how my bracket would look:
UK in the first round, UK in the second round, in the sweet sixteen, elite eight, final four, AND in the finals. It's been pretty obvious that they've got what it takes, and it would be incredible to see such a young team take it all. A rotation that includes four freshman who, just last year, were spread across the country eating lunch almost every day in a highschool cafeteria. Now they're flying across the nation to play the best college teams in america.
Plus, I love the cats, and of course I want them to win it all.
Also: I'm calling it. 12th seeded cornell over 5th seeded Temple. That's the 5/12 upset this year.

Silly
What does it mean to be silly? Well...
"Silly" is defined by princeton.edu as ludicrous and foolish. Well, what does that mean? I guess it means something that's irregular or unconventional. Something that you wouldn't expect, but not bad or negative in essence.
So let's give an example. It would be silly to paint yourself blue and wear white trousers and go to class. That just doesn't make sense, it's not fashionable (unless you're a smurf), and alot of people would probably give you strange looks. So, it would be silly to attend class dressed as a smurf. Note that it would not be silly to dress as a smurf if you're attending a meeting of smurf-vestites.
Does that mean you should never attend class dressed as a smurf? OF COURSE NOT. Always go to class dressed as a smurf! If you can stand the attention, and can manage to keep out of trouble, it's a great idea. In my opinion, embarassment is the best way to build character.

Just look at this guy! He's doing great!
Go for it!
